FOCAL: PROMOTION OF LOCAL ARTISTIC CREATION
Project: GERMÁN RAMOS Y LA BANDA INTERNACIONAL is a musical collective from the Colombian Caribbean that was born as a result of the creative encounter of the guitars of Jorge Guerrero (El Salpi) and Franco Hernández, with the particular voice of Germán Ramos Bolívar after a musical research process focused on the study of the sound diversity of the Colombian Caribbean.
FUNDIDO A NEGRO: WORKSHOP ON COMMUNITY CINEMA MADE WITH CELL PHONES
This project seeks to train young people from the Nueva Colombia neighborhood in Barranquilla in audiovisual production using cell phones. For two months, participants will learn filming, editing and cinematographic narrative techniques, culminating in the creation of short films that reflect relevant issues of their community. This initiative fosters social inclusion, cultural participation and artistic expression, while preserving local heritage and celebrating cultural diversity.
ESE OTRO TAMBIÉN SOY YO
This project seeks to unite landscapes and sounds, through analog formats such as poster art and the use of digital through soundscapes, and to build a shared narrative that celebrates diversity and promotes a deep and meaningful connection between the Caribbean and the Amazon. By breaking down barriers and strengthening the connection between regions and people, this project aligns with the Cultural Innovation and Connection action line, promoting a greater understanding and appreciation of diverse cultures and natural environments.
